Holiday Edit Part I: Paris In Style
When it comes to holidays, sometimes festivities are the very thing you need a break from. With that in mind, we’ve put together a few suggestions for our city breakers to provide some inspiration for a winter getaway that could well last into the New Year…
The first stop on our tour is Paris. The City Of Love is still one of the most beautiful in the World; we love striding down the Avenue des Champs-Élysées, taking in the sights and smells of the iconic city centre with its shops, restaurants and museums.
If it's your first time to Paris, you'll probably want to spend some time at the Eiffel Tower, The Musee d’Orsay, The Louvre and of course Notre Dame but there is so much more to see.

With its ancient private mansions, superb museums including the Musée Picasso, great restaurants and the lovely Place des Vosges, notwithstanding the famous old Jewish quarter, with its many hidden surprises and lovely side streets
Marché aux Puces de Saint-Ouen
This 150-year-old market is the world's largest and most famous flea market. Within the maze-like alleys and stalls you can discover a veritable treasure trove - we love the myriad of art deco antiques and vintage couture and luggage. Rue Saint-Honoré
Shopping the length of the uber chic Rue Saint-Honoré could easily take you all afternoon - a plethora of designer labels and high-end French brands. In this uber hip street you can burn your credit card on classic names such as Chanel, Goyard and Hermes or visit the world famous Collette.
Ile Saint-Louis
For some peace and quiet amongst the buzzing streets check out the beautiful courtyards and 17th Century mansions on the Ile Saint Louis – even in Winter, ice cream from the world famous Bertillon is a must have – we recommend the rum and raisin!
Fondation Louis Vuitton
Situated in the Bois De Bologne, this is Frank Gehry’s stunning museum of contemporary art. It was commissioned by the CEO of LVMH and houses his private art collection as well as hosting temporary exhibitions – well worth a visit.
