Disappointed with Quality

I was so disappointed with these - the color bled onto the belt on the first wash even though I exactly followed the instructions on their website for washing. What’s worse, is that when I contacted the company to report the issue, they claimed I must have done something wrong. What terrible customer service. Anyway, it’s otherwise cute, but very disappointing quality for the price.

Here is the response from the company:

“Arabella London have used this same fabric in our swimwear for the past 7 years and until now have never received a report of any bleeding from the fabric. Eurojersey, the highly reputed manufacturer carry out rigorous testing of their fabrics with independent laboratory certification of colour fastness, subject to use in accordance with care guidelines. The item you purchased has been extremely popular, now sold out in three sizes and soon to be re-stocked and we have had no similar issue reported. However to be absolutely certain, we carefully replicated under controlled environment exactly how you stated the staining had occurred using the same detergent we specifically purchased from the USA, documenting the process from start to finish. The results showed no failure whatever in colour fastness. In these circumstances, while we are sorry for what you have experienced, we cannot offer a refund or replacement.”
